This is an interactive phrase composer and soundboard for the legendary
International Superstar Soccer 64 commentary. You can pick iconic commentator calls, arrange them into a custom timeline sequence, and replay the entire phrase. The idea for this website has been percolating in my mind for over a decade, and I'm thrilled to have finally brought it to life.
How to Use:
- Compose Phrase: Clicking a sound pad appends it to the timeline composer track at the top. Clips with a RED border signify shouting lines, and clips with a BLUE border are calmer takes.
- Timeline: Press ▶ PLAY to play your sequence. Click the X on a card in the timeline track to remove it. You can also drag and drop clips in the timeline to reorder them.
- Randomize: Feeling lucky? Press the 🎲 RANDOM button to generate a prepared sequence of clips. Perfect for a quick peek or inspiration for new combinations to try out!
- Share: Press the 🔗 SHARE LINK button to share your current commentary sequence with friends! The URL will restore your timeline sequence when visited.
- Export: Want to use your custom sequence outside of this tool? Press the 💾 EXPORT button to download your current timeline sequence as a single audio file (WAV format).
Team Select & Voice:
Select countries in the sidebar. Use the TEAM VOICE toggle (CALM / LOUD) to determine whether country name buttons play and append calm or excited clips. All star teams are hidden by default, but can be shown by pressing STAR TEAMS.
Search & Filter:
Type in the Search Bar to filter soundboard pads. Click the loudness filters (ALL / CALM / LOUD) to filter pads by their intensity.
